FRIENDS OF HOFFMAN HOMES FOR YOUTH

The purpose of the Friends of Hoffman Homes is to acquaint supporters within the churches with the programs of Hoffman Homes for Youth (HHY). The Friends provide financial support and activities to strengthen the services of HHY.

Membership in the Friends of Hoffman Homes is open to any individual who desires to support the mission of HHY. There are two categories of membership: Representatives and Members-at-Large.

Representatives are members appointed to be responsible for communications between supporting congregations and Hoffman Homes for Youth. Members-at-large are members who pay their annual dues. The cost of annual membership dues is determined by the Friends, and are payable during the calendar year.

Two general membership meetings are held annually; the first Thursday in April and the first Thursday in November. During the April meeting plans are finalized for the annual Family Day and Bazaar held in May. Election of officers are held during the November meeting.

The major fundraiser for the Friends of Hoffman Homes is Family Day and Bazaar held during the month of May. This event includes a chicken barbecue, bake sale, flower sale, flea market, live entertainment, raffle drawings, and games for young and old alike.
